Preparing Machine with 24.4, 27.4 and 30.5 m (80, 90 and 100 ft) Boom for Transport on Semi-Tractor Trailer

causym CAUTION: Suspension linkages can cause injury to you or others from movement when inflating or deflating air springs. Keep hands and body away from suspension linkage.

1. Empty solution tank and rinse tank.

2. Deflate front and rear suspension air springs (A).

3. Set wheels at 3048 mm (120 in.) tread setting.

4. Remove foamer boot (A) (if equipped) at end of each boom.

5. 4830 Only- Lower sight gauge (A) from transport position (B) down to field position (C).

6. sight gauge lowered to transport position, remove sight gauge hose (A) from existing p-clamp (B).

7. Completely fold booms.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT tie boom wings to transport trailer.

8. Loosen nuts (A) and pivot breakaway section pad (B) down to position shown. Tighten nuts.

9. Position breakaway section (C) tight to inner section and tie at location (D).

10. Tie outer boom assembly to the intermediate boom section at location (E).

11. Raise ladder (F) on right-hand side of machine and tie band in transport position.

12. Place antenna in retainer (A) on cab roof.

13. Drive machine onto trailer or truck.

14. Get down from machine and raise lower portion of ladder (A) into transport position. Retain with hook strap (B) as shown.
