NOTE: The use of John Deere Spindle Cleaner is recommended over wetting agents due to superior performance, especially under adverse conditions. Use of John Deere Spindle Cleaner results in the following:

  • Reduced moistener solution usage

  • Drier doors and associated picking parts

  • Less mud build up

  • Less cleaning of row units

  • More productivity due to less time filling tank

  • Elimination of green stain/sticky spindles

  • Less moistener system maintenance (adjustment and replacement of pads)

  • More efficient doffing

This machine is equipped with number 3 nozzles for use with spindle cleaner. Spindle cleaner allows longer intervals between tank refills.

Recommended solution ratio for average conditions is 21.25 L (5-2/3 gal) per full 1363 L (360 gal) tank of water.
