Use Single Point Depth Stop Control
Never operate SCV I in CONTINUOUS. Wheel retraction
valve can cause machine to unfold unexpectedly causing serious injury
or death to you or others.

Make sure that tractor flow control is in rabbit position.
Single point depth control is a convenient method to set working
depth. Use following procedure when making initial depth control adjustment.
-
Five turns equal 25.4 mm (1 in) of working depth.
Turning counterclockwise raises machine. Turning clockwise lowers
machine.
Turn single point depth control crank (A) until depth stop bracket
(B) is against rear single point depth control bracket (C).
-
Operate machine using tractor multi-function lever to obtain
desired disking depth.
-
For consistent single point depth control performance,
always move tractor multi-function lever rapidly from neutral to lower
position.
Stop tractor. Turn single point depth control crank until depth
stop bracket (B) is against plunger (E) on control valve (D).
-
Use decal (F) as a guide when readjusting single point depth
stop control. Moving depth stop rearward decreases working depth.
-
For best disking performance and to avoid machine
damage ALWAYS adjust depth so lift wheels are ALWAYS in contact with
ground at all times. NEVER operate machine with tires raised off ground. Be sure to rephase main frame and wing frame wheel lift cylinders
periodically.
Rephase lift cylinders by holding tractor multi-function lever
back a few seconds after machine has been fully raised.
Depth gauge wheels must support frame for level disking results.
Pulling depth gauge wheels completely off ground does not help achieve
maximum depth and causes unlevel disking results.
When lowering machine, depth multi-function lever returns to
neutral at depth established.
