When to Change Disk Blades
Generally, a blade begins to lose its effectiveness for leveling
and penetration when it has worn down past 15 to 20% of its original
size. For example, the following blade sizes would be worn down to
that point using the 15 to 20% rule of thumb.
Blades wear differently depending on conditions and proper
operation and these guidelines have nothing to do with John Deere
warranty policy on these blades.
