A - Spring Pin

B - Scraper Blade

C - Pivot Cap Screw

CAUTION: Self-adjusting scrapers are sharp and spring loaded. Wear protective gloves to help prevent injury from cutting edges of disk blades or scraper blades. When removing self-adjusting scrapers, always remove scraper with spring attached to upper portion of tension lever first to prevent scraper from being thrown apart by spring tension causing serious injury or death to you or others. When installing scrapers, always install scraper with spring attached to upper portion of tension lever last.

  1. Pull scraper arm away from disk blade and tighten pivot cap screw (C) so arm becomes rigid.

  2. Remove spring pin (A), then scraper blade (B).

  3. NOTE: Do not position scraper blades too tightly against disk blades. Disk gangs should revolve freely.

Replace worn blade and reposition scraper arm.
