A - Load/Depth Control Range

When load/depth mix control is located in numbered range (A), rockshaft moves automatically to maintain desired combination of draft load and depth, as set by rockshaft control lever.

Machine depth remains fairly constant on uneven terrain and varies slightly when passing through tough spots in soil. Frequent gear shifting and/or rockshaft control lever adjusting is minimized.

Load/depth mix control setting depends on machine being used and field or soil conditions.

Adjusting load/depth mix control varies mix of position and draft control. Clockwise rotation increases draft response. Counterclockwise rotation reduces draft response. Choose setting which provides desired control of machine depth. Setting you choose will depend on amount of soil and terrain variation. Use illustration as a guideline.
