Determining Rear Wheel Weighting—Integral
Rear wheel weights may be necessary to eliminate excessive wheel
slippage or add stability in rough or hillside fields.
Do not add weights to eliminate all slippage. This would hinder
performance of your tractor.
Observe tracks of rear wheels. When tractor is pulling its rated
load, soil between tire lugs should be broken or shifted. If too much
weight has been added, tread marks will be clear and distinct. If
too little weight has been added, tread marks will be entirely destroyed.
(See your tractor Operator's Manual.)
