A runaway machine can cause serious injury or death to you or others. A safety chain will help control drawn equipment (B) if it accidentally separates from drawbar (A) while transporting. Using appropriate adapter parts, attach chain to tractor drawbar support. Provide only enough slack in chain to permit turning. (See your John Deere dealer for a chain with a strength rating equal to or greater than gross weight of towed machine.)|
