Removing Closing Wheels—If Equipped

  1. IMPORTANT: Do not place closing wheels in storage position.

    In wet, sticky soil conditions, remove closing wheels as needed.

    A - Cap Screw, Grade 8, 1 x 8 in.

    B - Drilled Pin 1 x 3.90 in.

    C - Arm Assembly

    D - Closing Wheel

    Remove 1 x 8 in. Grade 8 cap screw (A), two washers, two spacers, and lock nut.



  2. Remove spring pin and 1 x 3.90 in. drilled pin (B) from arm assembly (C).

  3. Remove closing wheel assembly (D).

  4. Retain and reinstall hardware and bushings on standard arm assembly.

  5. Tighten cap screw (A) to specification.
