Preparing Machine Checklist

Perform the following checks to ensure proper initial machine operation.

1. Standards, coulters, and closing wheels (if equipped) are aligned.

2. Machine is level side-to-side. (See LEVELING MAIN FRAME—SIDE-TO-SIDE in this section.)

3. Machine is level front-to-rear. (See LEVELING MAIN FRAME—FRONT-TO-REAR in this section.)

4. In Field—Check that above steps have been done.
