In addition to safety features described here, other components and systems—safety signs on machine, safety messages in Operator's Manual and elsewhere, as well as care and concern of capable operator—contribute to safety of operators and others nearby.A—WARNING LIGHTS AND REFLECTORS (Front and Rear): Alert other drivers to presence and width of slow-moving machinery on roadways and signal turns. 3 and 4-Standard machines have reflectors. 5, 7, and 9-Standard machines have lights and reflectors.
B—SMV EMBLEM: Identifies slow-moving equipment and alerts traffic approaching from rear.
C—PARKING STANDS: Supports integral machine during maintenance and when not in use. 3 and 4-Standard machines have one parking stand. 5, 7, and 9-Standard machines have two stands.
D—SAFETY CHAIN: A safety chain will help control drawn machine if it accidentally separates from drawbar.
E—Hitch Jack: Supports drawn machine during maintenance and when not in use.
