Setting Depth Control—Drawn

  1. CAUTION: Engage tractor parking brake, place transmission in PARK, shut off engine, and remove key to prevent serious injury or death to you or others before installing or removing depth stops on machine.

IMPORTANT: To ensure even penetration across machine width, use same number and size of depth stops on both depth control cylinder rods. Uneven penetration results in machine side draft.

NOTE: 25 mm (1 in.) Thickness of cylinder depth stop equals 76 mm (3 in.) of working depth.

Number of cylinder depth stops required may vary due to tractor tracks, wheel sinkage, and other variables.
