Prepare Foam Marker System for Cold Weather Storage

  1. IMPORTANT: Damage to foam marker can occur if liquid is allowed to freeze in control box and lines. Drain liquid from tank and lines. Flush and purge all liquid from foam marker system.

    A - Hose

    Remove hose (A) to drain the foam concentrate tank.



  2. Empty rinse tank by opening the rinse tank fill valve.

    A - Foam Concentrate Line

    B - Filter

    Remove foam concentrate line (A) on foam control box and blow out with pressurized air. Reinstall line to control box and concentrate tank when empty.



  4. Clean filters (B).

  5. NOTE: Following manufacturers directions, mix SprayMaster™ Winterizer Fluid at the correct ratio to protect the solution system down to the lowest expected temperature.

    Add approximately 20 L (5 gal) of appropriate mixture of SprayMaster Winterizer Fluid to rinse tank. Fill foam concentrate tank with same mixture.

  6. Start machine.

    Select the Setup softkey (A) to view the setup menu.



  8. Select the Spray Setup tab (B).

  9. Select drop-down box (C) next to “Foam Marker” and select between:

    • “OFF”
    • “AUTO”
    • “MANUAL”

  10. Select “MANUAL”.

    A - Priming Valve

    Remove foamer control box cover and open priming valve (A). Operate with valve open until no foam mixture coming out.



  12. Close priming valve.

  13. Operate foam marker system until no foam is generated from either foam mixing head.

  14. Check air and liquid lines for holes. Repair as necessary.
