Filling Solution Tank with Sprayer Pump

A - Solution Pump Switch

1. CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturer’s labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

   IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

   Operate engine at low idle.

2. Turn off solution pump switch (A).

3. CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), make sure Quik-Fill valve is turned off.

   A - Quik-Fill Valve

   B - Cap

   C - Suction Valve

   D - Pressure Valve

   E - Bypass Valve

   F - Remote Solution Pump Switch

   Verify Quik-Fill valve closed.

4. Open lock levers and remove cap (B).

5. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quik-Fill adapter and close lock levers.

6. Turn suction valve (C) to “SOLUTION TANK” position.

7. Turn pressure valve (D) to “BYPASS” position.

8. Turn bypass valve (E) to “BYPASS” position.

9. Open nurse tank valve and Quik-Fill valve.

10. Move remote solution pump switch (F) to “LOAD” position.

    NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch (F), pump is designed to come up to operating speed slowly. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

11. IMPORTANT: Failure to perform the following steps in order can create pressure spikes in the solution system that may cause pressure transducer failure and other component damage.

    A - Quik-Fill Valve

    B - Remote Solution Pump Switch

    C - Pressure Valve

    D - Bypass Valve

    E - Cap

    After solution tank has filled, close Quik-Fill valve (A).

12. Move remote solution pump switch (B) to “SPRAY” position.

13. Turn pressure valve (C) to “SPRAY” position.

14. Turn bypass valve (D) to “NORMAL” position.

15. Remove fill hose from Quik-Fill adapter and replace cap (E).
