Installing Scrapping Plates (Attachment)

NOTE: Install scrapping plates to increase efficiency in short, knotty cotton or during last picking.

Use of scrapping plates is not recommended for first picking in heavy cotton.

  1. N56559

    A - Cap Screw, M10 x 20 (5 used)

    B - Extension

    C - Cap Screw, M10 x 25 (5 used)

    D - Pressure Plate

    Remove cap screws and nuts (A), and extension (B).



  2. Remove cap screws and nuts (C), and pressure plate (D).

  3. NOTE: Position 4-spindle scrapping plates (B) at top and bottom with 10-spindle plate (C) in-between.

    A - Extension

    B - 4 Spindle Plate (2 used, PRO-12 only)

    C - 10 Spindle Plate (1 used, PRO-12), (2 used, PRO-16)

    D - Pressure Plate

    E - Plow Bolts, M10 x 30 (13 used, PRO-12), (12 used, PRO-16)

    PRO-12 Units: Attach extension (A) and scrapping plates (B and C) to inside of pressure plate (D) using plow bolts (E) and nuts. Use eight bolts to attach top and bottom plates and five bolts to attach center plate.

    PRO-16 Units: Install extension and two scrapping plates (C) using 12 plow bolts with lock nuts.



  4. Tighten all hardware.
