Baler Belt Brush Adjustment

Baler belt brush (A) is installed at factory in the least aggressive position. Brush can be moved closer to belts when necessary to reduce cotton carry around or compensate for bristle wear as follows:

  1. Loosen nuts (B) retaining brush to mounting brackets (C).

  2. NOTE: Machine must be engaged in harvest mode so that belts are under full tension to properly adjust brush position.

    Adjust position of brush holder mounting bolts in slotted holes in brackets. Set position so that brush bristles extend into the gaps between belts approximately 5 mm (0.2 in.).

  3. Tighten nuts to retain brush in new position.
