IMPORTANT: Damage to hydrostatic pump can occur during extreme cold weather. When cold, hydrostatic transmission oil becomes thick. Oil MUST be warmed before moving machine. Failure to warm oil can result in machine damage.

  1. Before starting engine, verify the following:

    1. Multifunction control handle (A) is in neutral.

    2. Fan switch (B) is off.

    3. Row units switch (C) is off.

  2. Turn key switch (D) to RUN position and wait a few seconds for control units and display unit to power up.

  3. Press low engine speed button (E).

  4. Start engine and operate at slow idle for 4 minutes before moving machine.

  5. When operating in temperatures below 25 °F (-3.9 °C), separation of tacky and non-tacky sections of wrap material can occur. If separation occurs, manually slow down wrap feeding speed. (See HARVESTING IN AUTO MODE in this section.)
