Understand service procedure before performing work. Keep area clean and dry.

Unauthorized modifications to the machine can impair the function or safety of the machine. Unauthorized modifications can also affect machine life and void warranties.

Before working under row units, fully extend unit lift cylinders and release safety stop cable (A) on both sides of machine. Verify that safety stops fall into place over cylinder rods on both sides.

Before working on or around module builder, place rear gate in handler cradle and engage gate hydraulic lock valve (B) and handler hydraulic lock valve (C).

Before loading wrap make sure no one is on or near accumulator or module builder.

Before operating power module tether, make sure that no one is on or near accumulator, module builder, or handler.

DO NOT lubricate or adjust machine when it is in motion.

DO NOT check the water level in a hot radiator by removing cap. Check surge tank.

Shut off engine and remove key when working on the machine unless specifically instructed to leave engine running.

Replace all guards and shields removed for servicing.

DO NOT attempt to remove an obstruction unless:

  • Units are disengaged and fully lowered or row unit lift frame cylinder stops are in place
  • Multifunction control handle is in neutral
  • Park brake is engaged
  • Ignition is off
  • Switch key is removed

When instructional seat is in use, operator and observer should exit operator station during all service work.
