Starting Fluid Canister Location (Right-hand Side)

A - Canister

CAUTION: Starting fluid is highly flammable and can cause serious injury or death to you or others if it is accidentally ignited. DO NOT use near fire, sparks, or flames. Read the cautionary information on the container. Protect container against damage.

Pressurized cans of starting fluid are available from your John Deere dealer. Protect starting fluid can from damage or extreme heat.

IMPORTANT: To avoid drawing dust into engine, ALWAYS keep a starting fluid can in position or clean bottom of canister and install bottom side up.

  1. Remove front cover from cooling module on right-hand side of machine

  2. Remove safety cap and plastic nozzle from new starting fluid can.

  3. Remove canister (A) and install new can.

  4. Install canister and tighten.
