Clean Cooling Package

Every 12 Hours

CAUTION: Sudden movement of rotary screen or machine can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Turn off engine and remove key before cleaning rotary screen and cooling package.

Reduce compressed air to 210 kPa (2 bar) (30 psi) or less when using for cleaning purposes. Clear area of bystanders, guard against flying debris and wear personnel protection equipment, including eye protection.

  1. Unhook latches (A) and open door (B).

  2. Pull trash expeller (C) away from rotary screen (D).

  3. Remove dirt, trash, and lint from trash expeller using a brush and compressed air.

  4. Push trash expeller back into position.

  5. Verify that rotary screen rotates freely.

  6. IMPORTANT: Avoid fin damage when using high pressure air or water when cleaning cooling cores. Use a fin comb to straighten bent fins. Bent fins will decrease cooler performance.

    Release latches (A) and open cooling package.



  7. NOTE: When using compressed air to clean rotary screen, blow from the inside of screen out.

    Clean cooling cores (B—G) and inside of rotary screen (H) using a brush and compressed air as necessary.

  8. Close cooling package door and retain with latches.
