Removing Machine from Storage

  1. Clean the machine thoroughly, inside and out.

  2. Remove sealing tape and plastic bags.

  3. Charge and install batteries. (See CHARGING BATTERIES in Battery section for proper charging procedures.)

  4. Check all oil levels. Check for leaks if low and add oil as required.

  5. Check coolant level. Check for leaks if low and add coolant if required.

  6. Check all belts for alignment and tension. Adjust as needed.

  7. Replace engine air filter primary and safety elements.

  8. Reinstall tires and check for correct inflation. Inspect tires for tread wear, torn or missing drive lugs, cracks, bulges or bubbles.

  9. Lubricate machine completely, including bearings on round module builder rollers.

  10. IMPORTANT: Once engine starts, allow it to idle with AC compressor on for a minimum of 4 minutes. This will allow refrigerant to properly lubricate compressor.

Start engine. Do not operate starter more than 30 seconds at a time. Wait at least 2 minutes for starter to cool before trying again.

  11. Run machine at half speed for about one hour. Check bearings for overheating or excessive looseness.

  12. Using clean, warm water, flush RV antifreeze from moistener system.

  13. Review entire Operator's Manual.
