CAUTION: Shut OFF engine and remove key before performing maintenance work.

During operation, when water sensor on primary fuel filter detects presence of water, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is generated and displayed on armrest display unit (ADU).

Drain water separator daily or when a diagnostic trouble code appears:

1. Shut off engine and remove key.

2. Remove engine access cover.

3. Open drain valve (A) and drain water and sediment from primary fuel filter (B) into catch pan.

4. Close drain valve and install engine compartment cover

5. Reset DTC on armrest display unit.
