Program Radio for Local Area Frequency

To verify that radio is set for North American frequencies:

1. Turn key switch ON.

2. Turn radio OFF (display shows current time).

3. Press and hold DSPL/TIME button for two seconds to enter “SET” mode.

   NOTE: While in set mode, push BAND button to display name of country whose frequency band is currently selected.

4. Immediately press BAND button until “Americas” is displayed.

5. When “Americas” displays, do not press any buttons for a few seconds; new area frequency setting is in use when display returns to current time.

To program radio for different frequency:

1. Turn key switch ON.

2. Turn radio OFF (display shows current time).

3. Press and hold DSPL/TIME button for two seconds to enter “SET” mode.

4. Immediately press BAND button to toggle between area settings:

   • Americas
   • Eur/Aust (Use for Europe and Australia)
   • Japan
   • Argentin(a)
   • China
   
   

5. When desired region displays, do not press any buttons for a few seconds; new area frequency setting is in use when display returns to current time.
