   Remove carriage bolts (A) and guide (B).

   Stationary Knife Full Shim, 0.25 mm (0.010 in.)

   Stationary Knife Half Shim, 0.25 mm (0.010 in.)

   A - Shim

   B - Stationary Knife

   C - Rotary Knife

   D - Clearance

   Clearance (D) must be same across length of stationary knife and rotary knife. Use half shim if clearance is not same from one end of stationary knife to opposite end.

   Add shim(s) (A) to achieve clearance between stationary knife (B) and rotary knife (C). Clearance (D) must be within specification.

4. Tighten nuts (A). Check clearance. If clearance is not within specification, repeat previous step.

   NOTE: Alternate method is to loosen bolts in knife floor and lower floor.
