NOTE: Retract all hydraulic cylinders including tread adjust cylinders when checking hydraulic oil level.

Hydrostatic system and hydraulic system use the same reservoir.

Observe oil level in sight tube (A) with machine on level surface, tread adjusted to narrow position, booms in cradle, and engine stopped. Hydraulic oil level should be at 12 to 25 mm (1/2 to 1 in.) showing in sight tube.

If oil level is below the lower mark, remove fill cap (B) and add hydraulic oil. (See Hydrostatic/Hydraulic Drive Oil in Fuels, Lubricants and Coolants section of this manual.)
