Change Hydraulic Oil—500 Hours

NOTE: Approximately 98 L (26 gal.) of John Deere Torq-Gard Supreme™ 10W30 oil is required to fill hydraulic reservoir.

1.

   A - Drain Plug

   B - Drain Hose

   Place booms in boom rests and retract all hydraulic cylinders including tread adjust cylinders.

2. Park machine on flat level surface.

3. Drain fluid by removing drain plug (A) from reservoir drain hose (B).

4. Install drain plug in drain hose.

5. IMPORTANT: Fill cap (B) contains hydraulic reservoir breather filter and should be replaced when hydraulic oil is changed.

   B - Fill Cap

   Remove fill cap and fill hydraulic reservoir with specified hydraulic oil until 12 to 25 mm (1/2 in. to 1 in.) of oil is showing in sight gauge (A).

6. If hydraulic filters were replaced perform the following:

   1. Start engine.

   2. Start solution pump and set to spray off pressure.

   3. Run engine and pump for one minute.

   4. Stop engine and pump. Recheck oil level. Add as needed.
