1. Steering Column Tilt-To tilt the steering column forward or backward, push down the lever located on the right side of column. To lift steering wheel, pull the lever up.

2. Steering Wheel-The harvester has automotive type steering. When the wheel is turned clockwise, the harvester will turn to the right. When the wheel is turned counterclockwise, the harvester will turn to the left.

3. Varitorq-The Varitorq Control Potentiometer regulates the speed and torque of the ground drive motors. With the potentiometer in the "Turtle" position, the ground drive motor will have maximum torque but minimum speed. With the potentiometer in the "Rabbit" position, the ground drive motor will have minimum torque and maximum speed.

4. Ground Drive Control Lever-Selects forward, neutral, or reverse travel of the harvester. When the lever is pushed forward, the harvester will move in a forward direction. When the lever is centered, the harvester is in neutral. When the lever is pulled backwards, the harvester will move in a reverse direction.

5. Elevator ON/OFF-Turns the elevator ON or OFF in the forward direction. It is located on the right side of the ground drive control lever.

6. Positrac-To engage Positrac, depress switch to turn Positrac on and the indicator will light. Positrac gives equal flow to the motors so that each tire will turn the same number of revolutions; engage Positrac only when necessary.

7. Transport Switch-Brake pedals may be used individually to assist in low-speed turning by flipping the transport switch to the "OFF" position, which unlatches the brake pedals. Depress brake pedal that corresponds with the direction of the turn.

causym CAUTION: To avoid injury or death to you or others from loss of machine control during transport, verify Transport Switch is in the "ON" position before road transport.

When machine is to be driven at high speed or when brakes are not needed to assist in low speed turning, make sure Transport Switch is in the "ON" position, which locks the brake pedals together. With the Transport Switch in the "ON" position, the machine will stop faster.
