1.
Make sure oil is warm before changing.
2.
Turn final drive until drain plug (C) is at the 6 o'clock position, as shown.
3.
The level plug (B) will be at the 9 o'clock position.
4.
Remove all plugs and allow oil to drain into an appropriate container. Dispose of oil according to employer and government guidelines. NOTE: Be careful not to lose the brass seals located on plugs. They are necessary.
5.
Install drain plug (C).

6.
Add oil through fill port (A). Allow time for oil to settle when filling because gear oil is thick and takes time to settle.
7.
Continue filling final drive until oil flows out of level plug (B).
8.
Install plugs.
