Changing Base Cutter Oil

1. Park harvester level in order to get the proper base cutter angle.
2. Remove bolts (A) and rubber side shield (B). Remove drain plugs (C), and allow oil to drain completely into to an appropriate container. Dispose of oil according to company and government guidelines.
3. Replace drain plugs (C).

4. Fill with gear oil through fill plug opening (B). Allow oil to settle in gearbox and add more, if necessary. Oil level should be at the middle of the sight gauge.
5. Once the proper oil level is obtained, replace fill plug (B) and replace rubber side shield.
