1.
Replace primary air filter insert.
2.
Service fuel tank (See "Service Fuel Tank" in Service Section).

Drain water and sediments.

Clean suction strainer.
3.
To maximize chain life, move elevator slats to alternate links.
4.
Check coolant and add additive if necessary.
5.
Check the engine vibration damper. Using both hands attempt to turn the damper in both directions. If rotation is felt, replace the damper.

6.
Test the coolant solution at 500 hours or 12 months of operation using either John Deere coolant test strips or Coolscan or Coolscan Plus analysis. If Coolscan or Coolscan Plus analysis is not available, recharge the system per instructions printed on the label of John Deere Liquid Coolant Conditioner.
