Changing Hydraulic Filters
1.
Release pressure in the hydraulic oil tank by removing the vent cap (A) on the side of tank.

Clean the filter cover and the area around it.
3.
Remove bolts and slowly lift filter cover making sure not to lose or damage seal. Make sure no trash blows into tank while cover is removed.
4.
Remove filter assemblies as shown.
5.
Replace cover on tank to keep trash out.
6.
Using a 17 mm wrench remove nut on lower end of insert assembly. The nut, retainer, and spring are removed together (B). Slide the filter (C) from insert assembly rod.
7.
Clean magnet (D) if dirty and inspect filter seals.
8.
Install new filter (C) on insert assembly rod. Replace spring, retainer, and nut. Tighten nut only until it stops, no further.
9.
Replace filter element insert assemblies into hydraulic tank.
10.
Install cover O-ring and replace cover on tank and torque bolts to 35 N·m (25 Lb-Ft).
11.
Replace vent cap (A) on fitting on side of tank.
IMPORTANT:
If hydraulic filters are used that do not meet factory specifications, the warranty of hydraulic components will be voided.
