FieldCruise™Switch

The FieldCruise™ Switch allows the operator to change the high idle engine speed from the normal 2200 rpm to 2000 rpm.

Switch to the lower speed position (2000 rpm) when operating in light cane and good field conditions. In heavy cane or adverse field conditions set the FieldCruise™ switch to the full throttle position (2200 rpm).

Press the switch on the downward arrow to set the high idle engine speed to 2000 rpm. If engine load at this setting is consistently over 90%, press the Switch to upward arrow to set the high idle engine speed back to 2200 rpm.

IMPORTANT: : Using the FieldCruise™ in the lower position in light cane and good harvesting conditions offers considerable fuel economy.

NOTE: Primary Extractor Fan speed may need to be adjusted to obtain desired cleaning when setting FieldCruise™ to 2000 rpm.
