Checking Final Drive Oil Level
NOTE:
It is recommended that the final drive oil level be checked every 50 hours.
When removing plugs, be careful not to lose the brass seals.
1.
Check oil level when oil is cold.
2.
Rotate final drive until drain plug (C) is at the 6 o'clock position and the word "TOP" is at the 12 o'clock position, as shown in picture.
3.
The level plug (B) will be at the 9 o'clock position. Remove level plug to see if the oil is even with the base of the opening.
4.
Remove fill plug (A), if necessary, and add oil until oil begins to flow from level opening (B).
5.
Install plugs and repeat process on remaining torque hubs.
