End of Season
1.
Store the mower in a dry place.
2.
Clean the mower thoroughly inside and out. Trash and dirt will draw moisture and cause rust.
3.
Thoroughly lubricate the machine according to the (Lubrication Section).
4.
Paint all parts from which the paint has been worn.
5.
Check the condition of the knives and fasteners. List the replacement parts that will be needed and order them from your John Deere dealer. Install them during slack periods-avoiding delays during the mowing season.
