The 300 Series Heavy-Duty Flail mowers have many applications, such as:

Clipping pastures, trimming fence rows, mowing large yards, cutting roadsides, and maintaining airports, golf courses, parks, etc.

The 300 Series Heavy-Duty mowers are equipped with heat-treated side-slicer knives. These knives perform well in tough conditions, such as brush, and in grassy, weedy areas. The weight of the knives, along with the centrifugal force created, provides aggressive cutting action.

The rotor knives will pivot to avoid damage when striking stones or other obstacles. They will swing back to clear obstructions and will automatically return to working position without interrupting the cutting operation.

Smooth cut knives (optional) are available. These knives are self-cleaning and are generally used in grass and weeds.

IMPORTANT: Always operate the mower with a tractor equipped with 540 rpm PTO. Run tractor at rated PTO speed. Overspeed will cause damage to drive system.
