A - Gauge roller
B - Top bolt
C - Lower bolt
The mower has a cutting height range from 13 to 127 mm (0.5
to 5 in). The desired cutting height of the knives is set by pivoting
the gauge roller (A).
Pivoting the roller upward lowers the knives and pivoting the
roller downward raises the knives.
IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances should the knives contact
the ground.
-
Adjust height by removing the top bolt (B) from each end of
the roller mounting and by loosening the lower bolt (C) in each end.
-
Position the roller for desired cutting height according to
chart.
-
For 390 Mowers: match the position
of the skid plate with the position of the gauge roller according
to the chart.
