Do not stand between tractor and implement.

Place draft control lever fully forward to the position marked
"OFF" (A) for no draft sensing.

Extend tractor telescoping draft link ends (if equipped).

Back up tractor to mower with hitch points approximately in
alignment.

Engage tractor parking brake and/or place transmission in "Park".

Shut off tractor engine and remove key.

Remove center link mounting hardware and hitch pin assemblies
at both hitch masts.

Align draft links with hitch masts and install hitch pin assemblies
according to tractor hitch category. (See POSITIONING HITCH PINS in
Preparing the Mower section.)

Start tractor engine.

Carefully back up tractor making sure both left and right draft
link ends lock.

Engage tractor parking brake and/or place transmission in "Park".

Shut off tractor engine and remove key.

Align center link (A) with upper holes in mower mast straps
and install center link mounting hardware.
IMPORTANT: Improper tractor center link adjustment may affect
the cutting height settings of the mower. Adjust the center link until
the gear case support is horizontal initially and make adjustments
as needed to get the desired cutting height.

B - Hitch control lever
Attach PTO driveline (See procedures in this section).

Start tractor engine.

Slowly pull hitch control lever (B) to raise mower. Check for
interference. Lower hitch to ground and adjust center link and/or
lift links if necessary. (See procedures in your tractor Operator’s
manual.)
