A - Mounting bolts

B - Adjusting nut

C - Deflection

IMPORTANT: Check belt tension during the first few hours of use and adjust properly.

1. Loosen (2) mounting bolts (A) in the idler adjusting arm

2. Turn the adjusting nut (B) clockwise to increase tension and counterclockwise to decrease tension to specification.

   Deflection (C) under 53 N (12 lbf) of pressure..............

   6 mm (0.25”)

3. Tighten mounting bolts (A) (See torque value charts in Service section).
