A - Mountings bolts

B - Adjusting nut

C - Drive pulley bolt

1. Remove side shield

2. Loosen (2) mounting bolts (A) in the idler adjusting arm.

3. Turn the adjusting nut (B) counterclockwise until belt is released.

4. Remove drive pulley by removing bolt (C).

5. Remove used belt and install new one.

6. Align drive pulley. (See ALIGNING PULLEYS in this section).

7. Turn adjusting nut (B) clockwise to get the proper tension. (See ADJUSTING DRIVE BELT in this section).

8. Tighten mounting bolts (A) (See torque value charts in Service section).
