Clean the mower thoroughly inside and outside. Trash and dirt
will draw moisture and cause rust.
Thoroughly lubricate the machine according to the (Lubrication
Section).
Paint all parts where the paint has been worn or scratened.
Check the condition of the knives and fasteners. List the replacement
parts that will be needed and order them from your John Deere dealer.
Install them during slack periods-avoiding delays during the mowing
season.
