MFWD Front Wheel Bolt Tightening

causym CAUTION: Avoid the possibility of personal injury. Never operate tractor with loose wheel bolts or axle components. Wheel bolts are critical and require retightening.

NOTE: Both inner and outer bolt patterns of disk have one tight fit hole and one slot fit hole 180° apart.

The tight fit and slot fit holes are not found on 24 in. and 26 in. 10-bolt rims or on 26 in. 8-bolt rims.

Wheel Disk to Rim:

Install bolt in tight fit hole (A) and hand tighten bolt. Install bolt in slot fit hole (B) and hand tighten bolt. Install and hand tighten remaining wheel disk-to-rim bolts. Tighten all bolts:

Specification
Wheel Disk-to-Rim-Torque ...	310 N·m (230 lb-ft)

Drive tractor 100 meters (100 yd) and retighten bolts. Tighten again at 3 HOURS and 10 HOURS.

Wheel Disk to Hub:

Hand tighten fastener to tight fit hole (C). Hand tighten fastener to slot fit hole (D). Install and hand tighten remaining wheel disk-to-hub cap screws. Tighten all fasteners:

Specification
Wheel Disk-to-Hub- 7220, 7320 Axle -Torque ...	300 N·m (220 lb-ft)
Wheel Disk-to-Hub- 7520 Axle -Torque ...	480 N·m (355 lb-ft)

Drive tractor 100 m (100 yd) and retighten bolts. Tighten again at 3 HOURS and 10 HOURS.
