Prevent possible injury caused by a falling loader. Always
detach the loader on a hard, level surface. Loader must be equipped
with a bucket and parking stands.
Remove the ballast box, if equipped. (See Remove Ballast Box
in this section.)

Lower the bucket to the ground, applying slight down-pressure.
Do not raise front tires off the ground.

Place the transmission in PARK and shut off the engine.

The bucket can be rolled back and forth to loosen mast pins
(A).
Remove the spring pin (B) and mast pin (A) from the loader mast
on both sides.

Right-hand side:
-
Remove the spring pin (E) and upper hose support (C) from the
drilled round-head bolt (D). Store the spring pin on the drilled round-head
bolt.

5M Series and 5105ML tractors only: Remove the spring pin (G)
and lower the hose support (F) from the bracket. Store the spring
pin on the pin.

Remove spring pins (A) and parking stands (B). Install spring
pins on storage brackets as shown.

Align holes in the bracket and top of parking stands (A)
and install mast pins (B) as shown. Fasten with spring pins (C).

To prevent the loader from sinking in soft ground, place
boards under parking stands.
Place the transmission in NEUTRAL.

Parking stands cannot contact the ground during this operation.
Dump the bucket if more clearance between parking stands and ground
is required.
Extend lift cylinders until masts (A) rotate forward and clear
bushings (B) on the mounting frame.

Roll back the bucket until parking stands contact the ground.
Continue to roll back the bucket until the loader lifts out of mounting
frames as shown. Drive ahead as necessary to keep the hoses slack.

Place the transmission in PARK and shut off the engine.

serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting
hydraulic or other lines. Protect hands and body from high-pressure

Relieve the hydraulic pressure. (See Relieve Hydraulic Pressure
in Controls section.)

Disconnect loader hoses (A) from the valve.

Place caps on hoses and plugs in couplers.
When disconnecting hoses without couplers, use the appropriate
plugs for the mid-mount valve.

Disconnect loader hoses (A) from the valve.

Place caps on hoses and plugs in couplers.

Disconnect the multicoupler (5M series and 5105ML tractors,

Push in the red knob (C) and rotate the lever (A) rearward to
disengage pins and coupler halves.

Place the loader coupler (A) on the lift cylinder as shown.
Do not place loader hoses on the ground.

Avoid damage from contact with the tractor fender or wheel.
Lever (A) must be in the locked (UP) position. To protect the connection,
lower the cover (B).
Rotate the lever (A) forward until it locks in the UP position
as shown.

Lower the cover (B).

Place the transmission in REVERSE. Move the tractor away from
the loader.
