Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin, causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Protect hands and body from high-pressure fluids. (See additional information, Avoid High-Pressure Fluids, in Safety section.)

□  Check for loose hydraulic fittings.

□  Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks, age, and exposure. Check hoses regularly. Replace damaged hoses.

□  Relieve the hydraulic pressure. (See Relieve Hydraulic Pressure in Controls section.)

□  Check for hydraulic oil leaks. (See Tighten Hydraulic Fittings and Hoses in Service section.)

□  Check for missing or loose hardware. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

□  Check the tractor transmission/hydraulic oil level.

□  Lubricate the loader. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

□  If equipped, adjust the SCV detent selector and flow control as necessary. (See Prepare Tractor section.)
