Keep Cutter Clean

Avoid machine damage due to build up of debris on cutter deck. Remove cuttings from deck DAILY or more often if necessary.

Accumulation of material on deck surface can interfere with driveline and cause gear case to overheat (resulting in component damage). Accumulated material can cause the deck to corrode due to moisture in material.

A - Dipstick

B - Lines

Remove dipstick (A). The acceptable oil level is between lines (B). Add John Deere GL-5 Gear Lubricant, or equivalent, if necessary.
