A - Baffle

Baffle (A) is behind chain safety shield and under front left-hand corner of deck. It helps prevent windrowing of material, especially in row crop applications.

IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to rotary cutter, remove baffle when cutting brush. Large pieces of brush beating against baffle may cause damage to baffle and cutter deck.

In some conditions, baffle may push grass down, leaving an uncut strip. Remove baffle to relieve this problem.
