Install Rear Solid Safety Shield

1. CAUTION: This machine should not be used in areas where bystanders may be present and could be injured, or property damaged by thrown objects.

   NOTE: Installing shields in the upper position permits maximum material distribution. Shields in the lower position create better shredding and mulching of material with minimum distribution.

   A - Round-Head Bolts, Flat Washers, and Lock Nuts, 1/2 x 1-1/4 in.

   Install each shield in upper or lower position using four 1/2 x 1-1/4 in. round-head bolts, flat washers and lock nuts (A). Do not tighten.

   A - Round-Head Bolts, Flat Washers and Lock Nuts, 1/2 x 1 in.

   B - Plate

   Attach shields together using plate (B) and four 1/2 x 1 in. round-head bolts, flat washers and lock nuts (A).

3. Tighten hardware to specification.
