Theory of Operation

IMPORTANT: When STARFIRE ™ Receiver powers up, it is in single frequency differential mode. It takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes for receiver to switch to dual frequency mode. There may be a slight shift in position between the two modes. If machine was receiving dual frequency when it was shut down, 20 to 30 minute delay will not occur unless it has been shut down for longer than one hour.

IMPORTANT: For Harvest Doc to function properly, setup data from JDOffice must be saved to a PC card and installed in mobile processor. (See the JDOffice manual for complete data setup procedures.)

The Harvest Doc system provides the operator with easy-to-use menu driven commands. These commands allow operators to customize system to their specifications.

The Harvest Doc system in conjunction with JDOffice allows operator to collect and analyze farm/field data. Collected data support farm business management in areas such as crop record keeping, reporting and accounting. The system allows operator to collect data on harvest operations.

Harvest Doc is organized with the client being the top cell. For each client, there can be multiple farms, fields, tasks and operations. Each task can have up to six operations.
