Field/Soil Conditions

The environment in which the vehicle is operating is one of the most overlooked factors that affects the performance of the AutoTrac system. For example, loose soil conditions can reduce the effectiveness of the system because traction is lost. Firm soil conditions can cause uneven loads in high-draft applications. Finally, slope of the land plays a key factor in performance. Machine/implement drift occurs when the machine or implement slides down a slope

while trying to operate AutoTrac. Currently AutoTrac does not compensate for slope. As you can see, there are many factors that affect the accuracy and performance of the GreenStar AutoTrac system. It is imperative to understand these factors and what you can and cannot adjust to achieve optimal performance.
