Connecting a Speed Source to the Display

If necessary, the GS2 1800 display can be wired directly to a ground radar speed sensor, or to third-party GPS receivers that communicate via an RS232 serial port.

Check the box on the Settings page if either of these speed sources are connected directly to the display.

Do not check this box if the display uses speed data from a John Deere GPS receiver or from a factory installed John Deere radar sensor. Doing so could cause inconsistent data and alarms to display.
