Limp Home 10 Amp Fuse
A - Limp Home 10 Amp Fuse on Main Sprayer Harness
If communications between GreenStar 2 Display and GreenStar™
Rate Controller fail for any reason, operator can elect to operate
system in a limited functionality mode to finish a field.
By removing the in-line fuse (A) located in the main harness,
controller enters limp-home mode. While in limp-home mode, the system:
-
Enables all implement sections.
-
Disables fence row nozzles.
-
Calculates flow rate based on standard limp home speed of 8
km/h (5 mph), predefined Rate 1, and full implement width.
Limp Home mode assumes all CAN Bus communications have been
lost, and defaults to Rate 1, the original operating width, and a
fixed speed number of 8 km/h (5 mph).
NOTE: It is the operator’s responsibility to keep the
tractor at 8 km/h (5 mph) to ensure proper rate is being dispensed.
If operator is using Switch Box Controls, only the master switch
on switch box will work.
If Limp Home fuse is lost or destroyed, it can be replaced by
a common automotive type 10-amp. fuse.
NOTE: Limp Home mode does not function when NH3 Tool or planter
is the selected implement type.
